When Julie married Peter in 1981 she had no idea that her career at the Home Building Society was likely to come in so useful.

Having had the experience as a Mum of needing a bouncy castle for one of her children’s birthday parties and not being able to find one that easily, Julie set up her own jumping castle business from home and ran it for three years.

“When Peter started work at BAZZO in 1992 I became his PA after two years and then of course we bought into BAZZO Real Estate as partners in Feb 2004. Since we took the great leap to become owners of Bazzo, I’ve worked in almost every area of the many facets of the business from Administration, Property Management and Sales.”

Now, Julie works alongside her daughter Courtney Reid as the second Reid team and are achieving on average ten transactions per month. Julie has lived in Ballajura since 1987 and has brought four children into the world – Courtney (23) Scott (21) Alexander (17) and Curtis (12)

Nioby is one of our longest serving members of the BAZZO team and an absolute “rock” of our organisation. Nioby moved to Ballajura in 1990 and began working with BAZZO then. Nioby is married to Mark, and has two children Hayden (18) and Adam (16) both of who were educated at primary and High school in Ballajura.

Since 2002 Nioby has held the demanding role of BAZZO Office Manager and is responsible for the general day to day clerical and financial management of the firm .In June 2002 she obtained her property manager’s license and this has enabled Nioby to add to her responsibilities (and her value to us and our customers) by assisting in the property management division where she manages her own portfolio of managed properties. Nioby is well known and respected for the very regular and close professional contact she has with clients. We all know her for her fastidious attention to detail!

As Personal Assistant to Peter, Sarah has the unenviable task of having to organise Peter’s hectic business life. Sarah’s first career was in hospitality, working at The Villa Da Vinci restaurant at Ballajura. That was obviously where her natural skill for getting on with people and having exceptional organisational skills was born. Sarah is one of those people that you can utterly rely on with no task to big or too small, and a never ending eagerness to deliver!

Sarah has just taken her first step onto the property ladder in Ballajura and has transformed what was a pleasant, typical Ballajura home into something really beautiful. Her eye for detail certainly came in handy during that reno job!

From a very early age, it was inevitable that Courtney was going to have a career in sales.

“At the age of 16, I was helping Dad, learning how to be a PA, and I guess I got the taste for the real estate business then. As the oldest of four siblings, I remember very well having to “negotiate” so many things at home with my parents (and my three brothers) and Im sure that early practice has stood me in good stead for my role at BAZZO.

Now, Courtney is sales consultant in the Mother and Daughter Reid team and is making a very valuable contribution. “My goal is to ultimately pip Dad to the top sales slot” – and right now Courtney is well on track to do just that!

Not long ago Courtney took her first step into the property market and has carried out a tasteful reno on a property in Ballajura. “When I’m not at work I like to go shopping, eating out, cooking at home and grabbing a week away whenever I can in my favourite holiday location – Bali”.

Ross has been connected with BAZZO for many years in many roles including at one time being part owner. Ross is very well known and respected in the Ballajura area and is a stalwart of the BAZZO team!

Married to Carole, they have lived in Ballajura most of their lives and have three grown up children.
 

As an ex-banker Ross has an astute financial mind. Ross’s experience draws from previously working with Westpac Bank (formerly known as Bank of NSW) for 20 years and during that time working in 4 different states. He also opened the last branch of the Bank of NSW in Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory. Ross’s experience doesn’t stop there he also worked in the Legal Administration section of the Bank in Perth for 3 Years.

He is also an avid West Coast Eagles supporter – “I never miss a match unless it’s with good reason” said Ross.

Spend just a few minutes with John and you’ll sense the pride he has in his work. He is an avid reader and commits extensively to self development and is also a valued team member. John is always the first to volunteer for things and is very generous with his knowledge, and can be found patiently spending time helping one of the younger members of the BAZZO team or explaining a particular process in the real estate world.

John has many very loyal clients that wouldn’t dream of asking anyone else to manage their property transaction, due in no small way to his attention to detail. John also hails from the banking world. He is a devotee of bowls (and plays at the Noranda Bowls club – where BAZZO sponsors the play mats).

A traditional family man, John is married to Sue, have two grown up girls, and when he’s not working or bowling he’ll be doting on his two grandchildren.

He has a vast knowledge of the Ellenbrook area where he lived for many years together with great knowledge of Ballajura. He has two children Renee (a serving police officer with The WA police force) and brother Broadie is going to University. “I am passionate about being the best I can be in real estate and to be known for delivering the best possible real estate service that I can”.

James likes nothing better than watching his favourite team Essendon beat the West Coast Eagles or the Dockers, (and that often causes some “lively debate” in the BAZZO offices). He is also a big fan of the author James Herriott (with “Vet in a Spin” being his favourite read). Ask James where his favourite holiday spot would be and he’ll tell you Nowra in NSW, where he’s looking forward to going back again this year, and also to go back to Dunsborough, WA.

It’s very often Trevor’s voice you’ll hear on the Public Address system at matches there too! If you have about three hours to spare ask Trevor about the Dockers – he is a walking talking Dockers knowledge bank!
